Science Tutor
Adam studied for his GCSE’s at Kirk Hallam Community Academy, where he achieved 9 A-A* grades, including Maths, English and all the Sciences. He went on to study A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at Kirk Hallam Sixth Form, where he earned 3 A’s. He subsequently studied Biochemistry and Genetics at the University of Nottingham, achieving a First Class Degree with Honours.
Adam remained at the University of Nottingham to complete his teacher training. He worked part-time during his studies, as well as having an active role in the University of Nottingham Judo Club. During his PGCE year Adam took on the role of club president, navigating the club through the Covid-19 pandemic.
Adam now works alongside Alastair in one of Derbyshire’s leading secondary schools. In his spare time Adam enjoys reading, coaching judo, and spending time with his recent puppy arrival.
